To us?, skylights are beautiful and are supposed to let light in to bring life to a room and or just save electricity. The builders in Dallas have adapted to a lower quality skylight which the Dallas consumer is unaware of the low quality skylights that they've purchased with their new home. The standards have been inset for many years here. We disagree with these standards and stand firm on Velux skylights and or any glass skylight VS plastic domes.

THE MAJORITY OF PROBLEMS WITH LEAKING SKYLIGHTS IN DALLAS can be corrected.

Remove existing skylight dome, remove 3 ft of shingles around skylight curb, replace curb if needed. Install Weather Guard 2.5 ft onto roof and 6" up skylight curb. Install new flashings. Properly FOLD flashing corners on 45% angles. We believe in tight folded corners vs the opened un cut standards. For what appears the last 30 years, the standards for skylights in the DFW metroplex has been " use the cheapest"..

We can repair existing skylight shafts, install new skylights where there was none. Complete framing, drywall, texturing, paints and trims. 100 % new skylight installations

We can replace plastic domes with new or the existing dome but do not warrant them
